About Nazaaha Raji
The Artist Behind The Planter’s Tailor
I believe the spaces we live, work, gather, and grow in should feel like us.
I’m Nazaaha Raji, a self-taught mixed-media artist, designer, and muralist from Atlanta, Georgia—and the artist behind every piece created through The Planter’s Tailor.
My work began with a love for transforming ordinary objects and spaces into something personal. A flower pot could become a canvas. A blank wall could become the focal point of an entire room. A space that once felt forgotten could become somewhere people wanted to gather, photograph, remember, and experience.
That idea became The Planter’s Tailor: a creative practice built around art that doesn’t simply hang on a wall—it becomes part of how you experience a space.
MY WORK
My canvas has never been limited to traditional canvas.
I create across hand-painted planters, functional plant artwork, original canvases, murals, and immersive space transformations. My projects range from intimate pieces created for someone's home to large-scale commercial environments involving multiple walls, walkways, partitions, and architectural features.
What connects all of the work is transformation.
I see what a piece or space is—and imagine what else it could become.
THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME
Why “The Planter’s Tailor”?
This is something your current page is missing, and visitors are likely curious about it.
I would tell the actual story here. If the name came from customizing planters specifically for individual people/spaces, say that. Something along these lines could work:
Just as a tailor transforms material into something created specifically for the person who will wear it, I began transforming ordinary planters into individual works of art—pieces created with their future homes, plants, colors, and personalities in mind.
That philosophy eventually grew beyond planters. Today, I bring the same tailored approach to walls, artwork, and entire spaces.
The canvas became bigger. The purpose remained the same.
That's memorable and actually explains your brand name.
Then establish credibility through real work
Your current page says you create for homes, classrooms, and public spaces, but it doesn't show visitors the scale of what you've actually done.
